Nintendo has prepared a massive lineup of new games and products for the 2014 holiday season. The lineup includes new entries from some of the biggest franchises in gaming, new hardware bundles for Wii U and Nintendo 2DS, and new amiibo interactive figures featuring some of the most iconic characters in the world of video games. The holiday shopping season begins soon for Nintendo fans, as the first 12 amiibo interactive figures become available for pre-order at a suggested retail price of just $13.99 each. Ubisoft has released an update for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot that started the last round of Opulencia’s Hero Draft. The Runaway, available now and for the first time ever to all players until August 11 at 4:59pm UK time, is the final Hero to be featured in the first ever Opulencia’s Hero Draft. If the entire community performs 207,753 successful attacks with her over the course of the event, all participants will unlock the Retro Royalty Costume for her. In addition, players can earn a discount of over 60% of in-game currency on the price to unlock the Runaway by levelling her up. Players who reach level 15 will also earn an exclusive epic weapon. BattleGoat Studios is pleased to announce update 1.1 for Supreme Ruler 1936.  This new update features additional UI Elements, Updated Equipment List with new units, Update Tech Tree, Additional Historical Events and Campaign Improvements and, most notably, two new scenarios: Operation Sea Lion and Operation Compass.  Operation Sea Lion gives players the opportunity to attempt the fall 1940 invasion of England that Germany never managed, while Operation Compass is the British effort to push the Italians out of North Africa in the winter of 1940/41. New production footage is available today of Kaiju-a-Gogo, the new strategy-action hybrid title from Kerberos Productions. The game is a light strategy/action hybrid currently in the midst of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. During its first week on Kickstarter, Kaijua-a-Gogo received more backers than any previous campaign from Kerberos, and supporters from around the globe have pledged over 40% of the game’s budget. In response to player enthusiasm, the developers have released some initial gameplay footage and added a bonus skin for the game’s monsters to be exclusively available to Kickstarter backers as a token of thanks for their support.
