Just Dance 2015 Launches WorldWide

ubisoft canadaUbisoft® has announced that Just Dance® 2015, the sixth game in the best-selling Just Dance® franchise, is now available in North, Central and South America for all motion control gaming platforms, including  Wii U™ system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. Just Dance 2015 is rated E10+ (Everyone 10+) and will be available at retail locations and online at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price between $39.99 and $49.99, depending on platform. Nintendo Announces Holiday 2014 Games And Products

Nintendo CanadaNintendo has prepared a massive lineup of new games and products for the 2014 holiday season. The lineup includes new entries from some of the biggest franchises in gaming, new hardware bundles for Wii U and Nintendo 2DS, and new amiibo interactive figures featuring some of the most iconic characters in the world of video games. The holiday shopping season begins soon for Nintendo fans, as the first 12 amiibo interactive figures become available for pre-order at a suggested retail price of just $13.99 each. The first dozen characters available for pre-order at select retailers are Mario, Peach, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Kirby, Fox, Marth, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer, with more on the way in the future. Konami’s DanceDanceRevolution Classroom Edition Debuts In Edmonton Schools

Nintendo Bringing Nintendo Network ID and Miiverse to Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo CanadaA December system update for the Nintendo 3DS portable system will allow users to combine their Nintendo eShop account balance for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Nintendo announced the news during a Nintendo Direct video released earlier today. After the Nintendo 3DS system update, users can register their Nintendo Network ID for Wii U on their Nintendo 3DS systems and combine Nintendo eShop account balances. This will enable them to purchase Wii U software using the remaining balance on their Nintendo 3DS eShop accounts, and vice versa. Eon Altar: Exploring New Worlds At PAX East

flying helmet gamesEon Altar is a new cooperative role-playing adventure that blends the experience of classic tabletop gaming and modern video games in a Tabletop Video Game. We had a sit-down chat with Flying Helmet Games‘ Project Director Edward Douglas a couple of weeks ago, and found the game and its mechanics to be rather intriguing. Personally, I think that Eon Altar will be a great way to bring back family game night, as it bridges the gap between those of us who played Dungeons & Dragons in high school and our digital kids. The nature of Eon Altar’s game play could also open doors for connecting with kids and encouraging conversation as quests are undertaken, feats are attempted, treasure is uncovered and beasts are defeated.
