Rock Hippo Productions has announced that starting this Thursday, the studio will launch major updates for its popular online cartoon style third-person action shooter MicroVolts, as well as its upcoming online multiplayer action combat game Brawl Busters.

Montreal software publisher Strategy First Inc. has announced a publishing partnership with Berlin studio Just A Game GmbH for the 3rd person shooter title Deep Black. Strategy First will publish Deep Black to North American retail outlets as well as work with Just A Game on a worldwide digital release strategy for Deep Black with all participating outlets. Strategy First and Just A Game will provide further updates about some of the innovations that they are bringing to Deep Black that will allow Gamers an opportunity to experience the game on a whole new level. EA BioWare™ has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art customer service center in Galway, Ireland. The new facility, BioWare’s first outside of North America, will provide 24/7 support for Star Wars™: The Old Republic^™, the award-winning story-driven massively multiplayer online game from BioWare and LucasArts. BioWare Ireland is recruiting another 200 jobs in preparation for one of the biggest game launches of the year. Star Wars: The Old Republic will be released in North America this December 20th. Featuring a distinct visual style that blends pixel art with paper and ink textures, They Bleed Pixels is a singular mix of intense platforming and fierce beat-em-up action.

They Bleed Pixels tells the story of a young girl haunted by a mysterious book and her violent Lovecraftian nightmares. Following his critically acclaimed music for Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, British Academy award-winning composer Jesper Kyd has written and produced the original score for Assassin’s Creed® Revelations, the fourth installment in Ubisoft’s immensely popular video game franchise, alongside music composed by Lorne Balfe. To reflect the story’s multicultural setting of 16th Century Constantinople, Jesper Kyd has crafted a rich and evocative hybrid music score drawing on Greek, Renaissance and Middle-Eastern instrumentation, while combining his emotional melodic writing and acoustic/electronic styles associated with the series.  Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be available on November 15th for Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 and PC.

Go!Speed!Go! is the latest all-ages arcade racing game from independent developer JPK Games. Coming to an iPhone and iPod Touch near you, Go!Speed!Go! will be available for $0.99 on September 28th. Players will be challenged to race their car along the track to get the highest score. Pay attention to the lines – green will gain you fame, glory and points, while red will literally fire you up – into a fiery explosion.
