A crack team of top Canadian athletes and award-winning illustrators is warming up their coloured pencils and getting their game faces on to host a series of workshops—starting this Friday—to help inspire young people to enter the Toronto 2015 Mascot Creation Challenge, which closes in just four weeks’ time. The workshops on Friday and Saturday will be held in libraries and community centres throughout Toronto, Ajax, Caledon, Hamilton, Markham and Mississauga. Following the recent announcement of Capcom Arcade Cabinet it’s now time to lift the lid and reveal the full list of classic 8-bit titles and how gamers will be able to transform their PlayStation3 or Xbox 360 into their very own customizable, HD 80s arcade. McFarlane Toys in partnership with Ubisoft announced today a licensing agreement to bring Assassin’s Creed®, one of world’s most successful video games franchises, to store shelves. Ubisoft has confirmed the release dates of all three upcoming episodes of Assassin’s Creed III The Tyranny of King Washington. This all new single-player experience will let players discover an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution. In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington.
