Sierra Wireless has announced the launch of the latest additions to the AirPrime® HL Series of embedded wireless modules for machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. The new AirPrime HL modules include satellite navigation support and are the smallest embedded wireless modules (22 x 23 mm) to be completely interchangeable across 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies. Celebrated French composer Olivier Deriviere (Remember Me, Alone In The Dark) has created a unique musical score for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag – Freedom Cry, the latest chapter in Ubisoft‘s historical action-adventure open world video game series. Set in the Caribbean at the dawn of the 18th Century, Freedom Cry is a stand-alone story about Adéwalé, a former slave-turned-assassin who attempts to save his enslaved people in Haiti. To immerse players in the game, Deriviere’s sweeping emotional score features performances by a world-class symphony orchestra as well as live drums, a cappella soloists and choir performed in the tradition of Afro-Haitian ancestral music. The Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag – Freedom Cry Original Soundtrack will be available for digital download on iTunes and other digital music sites to precede the release of the game. Kaleena Ross has learned some valuable lessons about starting a small business, but thanks to mentorship, she did not need to learn them the hard way. Kaleena found a mentor in Shauna Harper, a marketing and communications strategist with LiveWork PG. Through their partnership, she gained the confidence she needed to dive into entrepreneurship and start her own event and graphic design firm, Ikspres Media, in October 2012. That’s why during Crime Prevention Week (November 1-7), the Province’s Ministry of Justice is sharing with B.C. families some of the best ways to protect kids from being bullied online. The Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services is inviting British Columbians to share their ideas on the future of digital services in B.C., and how the BC Services Card could potentially help enable better service delivery. This open public consultation is one part of a broader process designed to help inform government of the values and needs of citizens with regards to the future of the BC Services Card and digital services.
