Astral Media Inc. has announced a deal that will have programming from its multi-platform brand Disney XD available on the Xbox 360 console through Xbox LIVE, the premium online entertainment service for Xbox 360. One of the first kids entertainment brands to make content available to Canadian families through Xbox LIVE, Disney XD will offer a sampling lineup that includes popular titles such as Phineas and Ferb, Kickin’ It and What’s Up, Warthogs!. Learn360, an interactive media-on-demand service for the K-12 education market, has signed a new contract with Surrey School District 36, the largest and fastest growingdistrict in BC. The contract was signed following a yearlong district pilot with Learn360. Concurrently, BC has embarked on a Province wide Pilot Project managed by the Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC) in which districts across the Province are testing top streaming video systems, including Learn360, in their classrooms.
