CATA Launches On Air Speciality Channel

CATACATAAlliance has announced that it will add an interactive On Air Broadcasting capability from Google Hangout to its digital tool kit as part of strengthening community advocacy and sharing of best practices as well as conducting thought-leadership interviews On Air, including hosting panel discussions with up to 9 different experts. New Game Development And Design Program Available at CDI College In Toronto

The program is currently is accepting applications for the 72 week program. Upon graduation, students will have assembled an impressive portfolio that showcases their artistic talents and technical abilities. Grads will be able to apply for jobs with game development studios, video game design companies and computer animation studios. Learning History Through Filmmaking

Canada's HistoryWhat do you get for your 145th birthday?  How about a fresh young take on Canada.  Every year, more than 110,000 students showcase their history projects at Heritage Fairs across the country.  Canada’s History Society along with Great-West Life and the Department of Canadian Heritage through the Take Charge program, encouraged students across Canada to film and re-enact historical milestones that mattered most to them and their community.  Through Canada’s History Young Citizens program, two hundred students embraced the challenge and brought history in their towns and cities to life through filmmaking. IBM Canada Selects Nova Scotia as Home for its Canadian Global Delivery Centre

IBMNova Scotia’s knowledge economy is continuing to grow through a new venture between the province of Nova Scotia, IBM and a group of six Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions. Together with the support of the Nova Scotia government and a consortium of 6 universities and colleges, IBM Canada will create its first-ever centre for application services delivery in Canada. IBM Canada will establish a Halifax-based Global Delivery Centre. Vancouver Film School Announces 7th Annual Game Design Expo
