HootSuite Announces Push Notifications And Adobe Genesis Integration

HootSuiteSocial media management dashboard provider HootSuite has made two exciting announcements this morning. First, and just in time for SXSW 2012, HootSuite will roll out push notifications for HootSuite for iPhone and HootSuite for iPad to all users. Enterprise and Pro clients requested this more than any other feature, and can now monitor up to 20 Twitter handles on-the-go, receiving notifications directly on their iPhones and iPads whenever they receive New Followers, Retweets, and Favorited Tweets. Wajam Reaches Milestone of One Billion Indexed Pieces of Shared Content

wajamSocial search technology developer Wajam has released new findings on the usefulness of social search. After sampling its extensive database of users to produce research on the state of social search, Wajam reports on the company’s blog that 44% of all search engine queries return social search results. Regular searches are enhanced by results from friends and followers nearly half of the time, bringing added value and increasing users’ social knowledge.
