Canadian businesses are storing more and more personal information digitally, but many are not using the technological tools or implementing the recommended practices to protect this information, a new survey has found. Rockstar has announced that the Max Payne 3 Official Soundtrack will be available digitally on May 23rd. Composed and recorded by LA-based band HEALTH, the soundtrack features the song “TEARS” which is due for release as a single on iTunes on May 15th, coinciding with the game’s US console launch. Corus Entertainment has launched Corus Feeds Kids, the company’s national philanthropic initiative that focuses on nourishing children’s bodies and minds. Corus’ goal is to raise $3 million and contribute 3,000 employee hours in three years. Corus Feeds Kids kicks off with a two-week awareness campaign that culminates on Thursday, May 17 with Corus Feeds Kids Day, a day dedicated to raising funds for local food banks to help alleviate childhood hunger in Canada. Canada’s largest telecommunications union has submitted a brief to the CRTC backing the demand of consumer and public interest groups for a national wireless code to protect consumer interests. As much as $4 billion is lost to consumers due to a lack of regulation in the telco industry, the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada notes in its submission to the CRTC’s Telecom Notice of Consultation.
