Google Launches Indoor Street View For Businesses In Canada

google canadaGoogle recently launched a business photos program to help businesses attract customers.  Specially trained “Google Trusted Photographers” provide 360-degree interactive panoramas of the interiors of businesses. The panoramas are seen on Google Maps and Google Places.  Businesses get higher visibility when consumers search on Google maps for a particular type of business in a geographic area, since the Google Places listings are found at the top of the results page. Cineplex Entertainment to Open New Theatre in Sarnia

Sweet Tooth Secures $2.25M in Seed Financing

411.ca411.ca, Canada’s Local Search Engine, re-launched today with great new features for advertisers and users. Advertisers will see a completely revamped Advertiser Centre. At a glance, business owners can now see their ad as it appears in search results as well as the number of times it has been viewed over the past 30, 60, 90 or 180 days. They can also send messages-such as announcements about a sale or special event-to 411.ca users and pick which review to highlight on their ad.
