A new Canadian Internet Station to showcase Blues, Folk and Roots Music is on the horizon. Canadian Roots Radio is being launched by Jim Priebe, CFA. Priebe is also founder of CIWS 102.7FM in Stouffville, Ontario. Priebe said technical tests are now underway and expects the station to be live by early summer.

“A new station is clearly needed” said Priebe “and so I’m starting one. There are so many musicians with high quality CDs that won’t be heard on traditional radio.The station practically created itself”.
