Desjardins Group is announcing that Desjardins Card Services, a national provider of merchant payment and financing solutions, has entered into an agreement with Staples Canada and Citi Cards Canada to acquire a substantial part of Staples Canada’s store credit card portfolio. Best Buy Canada is opening a new store in Brossard, Quebec this weekend, with the celebrations beginning on
Friday, November 4 at Quartier DIX30, 8480 Boulevard Leduc. Customers can line up to win a $1,000 Best Buy gift card each morning and a 3DTV giveaway will be held on Sunday. ConnectED Canada is a brand new conference focused on involving teachers, students and parents in the drive to move Canada’s educational system forward into the future. The inaugural event will be held on May 25th through 27th 2012 at the Calgary Science School.
The organizers want to focus on establishing a dialogue between those most effected by the evolution of our schools and curriculum, and want to find those who are interested in sparking inspirational and productive conversations. If you have a topic that fits within this model, please fill in the submission form so that organizers can consider your proposal. Deadline for proposals is December 8th, with speaker notifications going out on December 22nd, which is also the date when registration is scheduled to open.
