At a commemorative breakfast in Los Angeles yesterday morning, Telefilm Canada Executive Director Carolle Brabant was officially honoured as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s “13 Female Power-Players Who Rule the World“, the newly created sidebar for the trade publication’s annual Top 100 Power Women in Entertainment list. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Women in Entertainment, which has recognized in the past industry heavyweights such as Disney’s Anne Sweeney, Sony’s Amy Pascal, OWN’s Oprah Winfrey, NBCU’s Bonnie Hammer and A&E Network’s Abbe Raven.
