As we told you earlier this year, Toronto-based Maide Inc. has taken on the challenge of designing a new method of control for people who use 3D CAD programs. Their first product, Maide Control, turns the iPad into a multi-touch input device for programs such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Solidworks, Google Sketchup, and Rhinoceros 3D, and allows for multiple iPads to connect to one computer simultaneously. In an aggressive pursuit to increase its presence in key markets across Canada, Citytv has signed an affiliate agreement with Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN), the two
networks announced today. Beginning January 2, Citytv programming will air from 3 p.m. to 5:59 a.m. CST every day, at which time the network will officially be called ‘Citytv on SCN’. While the vast majority (83 per cent) of Canadian executives said that fraud prevention and detection is a priority at their organization, only 9 per cent of those surveyed said they have business analytics software designed to help detect fraud running all the time.
