EPX Games has released a new trailer for Night Whisper Lane titled, “Night Whisper Lane Version 1.0.1 Showcase Trailer” which showcases the major feature added in version 1.0.1 – Animated Boss Battles. The animated Boss Battle was one of the top 5 requested features that fans and customers wanted. They spoke and EPX listened. The AIM Game Development Weekend Intensive is a 2 day course held at the UBC Robson Square campus which teaches students the fundamentals of game development and computer programming using industry standard tools. Tim Hortons helped make history today, playing host to the first Canadian mobile credit card transaction. Canadian Olympic Triathlete Simon Whitfield purchased a Tim Hortons coffee at a downtown Toronto restaurant using a Rogers BlackBerry smartphone and CIBC credit card account. In recognition of Financial Literacy Month in Canada, Visa Canada has launched Peter Pig’s Money Counter, an online educational game designed to teach children aged 4-7 the value of money. Available for free on Visa’s financial literacy Web site, Practical Money Skills, the game encourages players to grow their bank account by completing counting and sorting challenges. A vast majority of Canadians – 85% – say that music plays an important part in their lives, and a full 90% agree that it is the musician who should receive most of the proceeds from an original song, according to a new national survey conducted by Léger Marketing on behalf of SOCAN – the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada.
