The Local Justice Pack, the first downloadable content pack for Max Payne 3, will be available on July 3rd for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version launching on July 17th. This pack includes three new maps for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer featuring areas from the game’s intense final chapters, plus a new weapon, a new item, a new multiplayer faction and associated new Achievements, Trophies or Social Club accomplishments.

A big year for the Nintendo 3DS system is about to get even bigger. In a Nintendo Direct video on June 21, Nintendo revealed plans to launch Nintendo 3DS XL, a new version of Nintendo 3DS with 90 percent larger screens. When it becomes available across North America on Aug. 19 at a suggested retail price of $199.99, the new system will create even more immersive entertainment experiences for users, delivering a wealth of games and video content that can be enjoyed on the go. Electronic Arts Inc. and NHL.com announced yesterday during the live broadcast of the 2012 NHL Awards^TM that Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux has been selected by fans as the EA Sports NHL^®13 cover athlete. Giroux beat Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne in the final of the first ever EA Sports NHL^® Cover Vote campaign by less than a one percent margin, in what was the closest matchup of the entire campaign.
