OpinCity is an app designed by Waterloo’s Pure And Noble, Inc. for locals to better discover their city. It’s a location based service (LBS) app that uses the GPS on your iOS and Android device to deliver time sensitive, and close-by results. It may be a concert, a Tuesday night wing special, or a neighbour’s snowblower for sale. The user is in control of the things they see, and it’s always around the corner. That scenario won’t be repeated with Ubisoft’s latest title Rocksmith — at least that’s the hope, says producer Jason Schroeder.
