Electronic Arts Inc. has announced that a downloadable demo for Army of TWO™ The Devil’s Cartel, the next installment of the franchise celebrated for its dynamic two player co-operative gameplay and over-the-top blockbuster action, will be available on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace and PlayStation®Network starting on March 12th. In the demo, players will step into the boots of private military contractors Alpha and Bravo as they embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped politician while diffusing an additional hostage situation. From the bottom floor of a dangerous drug lab, to the rooftops of a sky rise, Alpha and Bravo must infiltrate the Cartel’s stronghold and overcome hordes of cartel members, all the while working together to survive. Earning an 8/10 from Edge Magazine and co-star of the Eurogamer Expo 2012, Death Ray Manta involves blowing stuff up and making pretty colours in the spirit of Minter, Jarvis and Fearon. Based on the acclaimed PC/Mac game of the same name, Death Ray Manta features two sticks and a screen full of laser beams just like any great arcade game should.

EA Visceral has released a new trailer for Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel, and apparently there’s nowhere to hide from the explosive destruction of Overkill in Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel. Walls will crumble, buildings will fall, and your enemies won’t be able to escape in one piece. Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel will be available on March 26th for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with an expected M for Mature content rating.
