Canada Feature Film Fund Resources For Low-Budget French-Language Projects Have Now Been Allocated

Telefilm CanadaTelefilm Canada wishes to advise its clients that the Canada Feature Film Fund (CFFF) resources for low-budget French-language projects (budgets of less than $1.5 million) have been allocated for 2013-2014. The CFFF Production Program was open to low-budget French-language projects on May 3, 2013. Due to the implementation of a new faster decision-making process as part of our Program Redesign initiative, the funds assigned to this portion of our clientele were allocated sooner this year compared to previous years. However, all projects already submitted will be analyzed.

Even though all funds available have been allocated, we invite you to stay in touch with Marie-France Godbout, National Director, Feature Films – French Market at (514) 283-0838 for any French-language production under way or in preparation. To ensure more efficient management of future projects, we also recommend that all our French-language market clients discuss their production project with Marie-France Godbout before submitting a formal application for funding.
