[1]It is predicted that over the coming years more consumers will be accessing the internet through mobile devices than through PCs. Want to find a brand easily in this mobile world? Despite the overwhelming use of mobile smartphones, it is not as easy as you might think. Meet Brandtree, a Vancouver-based lean startup, launched in mid-October 2012, making it easy for brands to connect with the mobile customer. Brandtree has created a suite of cloud-based tools that enable mobile consumer engagement, analytics and insights.
“Brands are beginning to recognize that all customers are mobile,” says Brandtree [2] co-founder and CEO, Anthony Nicalo, “but too many are going straight to mobile commerce, missing an opportunity to drive sales in physical stores.”
Mobile site builder Digby reports [3] that across all the mobile sites they have built, mobile customers use store locators 63 times for every one mobile commerce order.
“We saw an opportunity to provide the tools and metrics premium brands like Skinny Pop Popcorn [4] need to engage their mobile audience,” noted Brandtree co-founder and VP of Engineering, Fabien Allanic.
Brandtree pushes mobile-relevant content to mobile users. When a mobile customer visits a website that is Brandtree optimized, Brandtree technology makes it easy to deliver to them the content they want, fast – making it easy for brands like Native Shoes [5] to connect with their customers in the mobile world.
