Rove to Showcase Mobile Admin at CA World 2011
Ottawa’s Rove will be offering demonstrations of its award-winning mobile IT management solution, Mobile Admin, to CA Technologies users during CA World 2011, which opens today at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Mobile Admin supports CA Service Desk Manager on Blackberry devices, iOS devices for iPhone and iPad and Android smartphones and tablets.
Rove Mobile Admin allows IT staff to access a comprehensive suite of functionality, including CA Service Desk Manager, from their mobile devices. Connected to the CA Server, the CA Service Desk Manager interface lets users manage tickets directly from their smartphone or tablet during their work day and while they are on-call, no matter where they are. Customers are immediately notified when a new ticket arrives, and are able to update the ticket, take immediate steps using Mobile Admin to resolve the issue being flagged, then close the ticket, without needing to connect to their computer.
“Being able to access CA Service Desk Manager from anywhere is a great asset for any IT person,” says Matt Moore, Director of Development at Rove. “We are looking forward to CA World 2011 and the opportunity to show CA Technologies customers all the benefits of Mobile Admin.”
“Having access to CA Service Desk Manager on smartphones and tablets can enable users to manage incidents faster and more efficiently,” said Kelly Blice, Vice President of product marketing, CA Technologies, Service and Portfolio Management. “Rove’s presence at CA World 2011 is a great opportunity for IT staff of all sorts to learn about Mobile Admin’s remote access tool for CA Service Desk.”
Rove will be performing many demonstrations during CA World 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Conference Center, 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Rove’s booth, #447P, will be located in the Service and Portfolio Management section. Attendees are encouraged to chat with Rove’s experts and learn about the many tasks they can perform with Mobile Admin while away from their computers.
