ceridian canadaHuman resources solutions provider Ceridian Canada Ltd. has launched its Powerpay Mobile payroll application for the Android platform. Powerpay Mobile replicates Powerpay Web’s essential functionality, eliminating the need for a computer, and enabling customers to enter data, preview and process regular and extra payroll runs – all via smartphone. The app is completely secure, requiring three levels of sign-in, and includes support from Ceridian’s Small Business Service Delivery team as well as a Total Satisfaction Guarantee.

“We are very excited to launch the Android version of our mobile payroll app,” said Shelley Ng, VP, Product Management, Ceridian Canada. “Android user numbers are growing everyday, and we wanted to be able to offer the convenience of this technology to the widest possible group of customers. Whether you’re an iPhone/iPad, Android or BlackBerry user, as a customer of Ceridian’s flexible Powerpay payroll solution, you can download the app and enjoy payroll on-the-go!”

The app, which is available for $6.99, also enables customers to:

  • conduct Rapid or Regular Time Entry with employee search;
  • add new employees, edit profiles or perform status changes with ROE;
  • view deductions and contributions;
  • review online payroll reports; and,
  • manage Advanced Job Costing (new within Powerpay Web version 4.0 released November 3, 2011).

“This app is all about making the lives of busy payroll professionals and small business owners easier,” said Craig Wild, Powerpay Product Manager, Ceridian Canada. “Since the launch of the iPhone and BlackBerry versions in July of this year, Ceridian Canada has received outstanding feedback from customers about the app’s usability, reliability, reporting capabilities, level of innovation, and more. That tells us that we have successfully met our objective. The launch of the Android version will provide payroll freedom to many more users.”
