TransGaming Launches Monthly Subscription Service On GameTree TV

transgamingTransGaming Inc. has announced that the “GameTree™ TV GamePass” will be launching on the FREE broadband service in France on  December 1, 2011. With this new monthly subscription service on GameTree TV, the market-leading gaming platform for Smart TV, GamePass subscribers can enjoy a 12-game monthly bundle at a rate of only € 4.99 per month.

The GameTree TV GamePass complements the existing GameTree TV à la carte menu of rental options offering more choice and flexibility to end consumers. Games will change on a monthly basis giving users the opportunity to enjoy a broad range of content for a fixed monthly fee. The GamePass subscription service represents an additional revenue stream for GameTree TV and is expected to further increase the monthly average revenue per user (ARPU). TransGaming expects that GamePass will drive greater adoption amongst the current consumer base as it delivers engaging family entertainment at just pennies per day.GameTreeTV

GameTree TV consumers can quickly and easily access GamePass with the click of a button through the innovative user interface. With a different bundle offered at the start of every month, GamePass subscribers can look forward to a wide selection of games. GamePass is the first subscription offering in GameTree TV, but additional subscription packages involving specialized game categories as well as other forms of interactive content will be introduced in the coming months.

“GameTree TV’s new monthly subscription service, GamePass, delivers incredible value to our consumers, who now have more ways than ever to access our great game titles,” commented Blake Lewin, President, TransGaming Digital Home. “Our approach is to provide our consumers with flexible transaction options to enjoy the broad selection of world-class content we are delivering through our best-in-class user experience.”
