Mixed Reviews On How Companies Deal With White-Collar Crime In Canada

pwcThe perceived risk of cybercrime to Canadian organizations is on the rise according to a new report on economic crime from PwC. The 2011 Global Economic Crime Survey ranks cybercrime as one of the top four economic crimes (23%), slightly behind accounting fraud and bribery and corruption (24%). Mobilicity Supports Ontario Bill 5 And Wireless Consumer Protection Laws

7GEntertainment Receives 8M Dollar Investment

The Fonds de solidarité FTQ has announced an $8 million investment in Vancouver’s 7GEntertainment which will be used to launch online video game publishing and hosting services. Roughly 100 jobs will be created over the next two years as a result of this investment. The announcement was made today by Fonds president and CEO Yvon Bolduc during a speech at the Canadian Club of Montreal.
