Catch the Monkey by Mirthwerx has officially launched in the Apple App Store for $0.99 USD. This innovative game bucks the action-game trend of using violence to overcome obstacles. In Catch the Monkey, adorable and curious monkeys invade an elderly farmer’s field. Players help remove them by using a variety of humorous and non-violent tools. Hothead Games has launched a significant update for the colorful side-scrolling iOS swimming game, Sea Stars. Version 1.3 introduces two new seascapes, three new swimmers, and a new sea buddy aid. The game has also been localized for Simplified Chinese, Korean, and the popular European, Swedish store. To celebrate, the Sea Stars is now available on the App Store for free. Eight years in the making, Cackleberries is the vision of Coquitlam, BC mom Eronne Foster, who wanted to build a virtual world around teaching kindness, empathy, honesty and loyalty – along with a few school subjects.
