The Emily Carr University of Art + Design Campus Redevelopment Project reached a critical milestone today with the announcement of the three proponents shortlisted following the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to design, build, finance and maintain the new state-of-the-art campus at Great Northern Way. Independent game developer Nine Dots Studio is thrilled to release a preview build of their game, GoD factory Wingmen, the 4vs4 space combat MOBA, soon to be available on PC, Mac and Linux platforms.  The competitive game allows players build their ships part by part and fight massive online battles. GoD Factory is currently on Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight seeking support from the community to finish the ambitious project. The developers are proud to release a public download of a working version game, in its current state, for the next 30 days.  The game also works with Oculus Rift, players simply press 7 on the num pad to activate Oculus mode. Nine Dots Studio has been releasing weekly updates for the campaign, including 4 sets of mystery ships, revealing a Linux version of the game, and an impressive video showcasing the game on the Oculus Rift. Electronic Arts Inc., the National Hockey League (NHL^®) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA^®) announced yesterday afternoon that New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur has been selected by fans as the EA SPORTS NHL^®14 cover athlete. Brodeur defeated Columbus Blue Jackets goalie and Vezina Trophy winner, Sergei Bobrovsky to claim the cover. The NHL 14 cover will be the first to feature a goalie since John Vanbiesbrouck appeared on the cover of NHL ‘97.
