Casting Call: Force Four Entertainment Looks For Quirky Characters And Hilarious Families
Vancouver-based Force Four Entertainment is launching a huge cross-Canada casting call for big personalities and larger-than-life characters for a new series in development with a major Canadian broadcaster. Force Four is looking for people who could be TV’s next biggest star – fill out an application form to apply. All applicants should also submit a photo of themselves or of their group, and a short 1-minute video to introduce their quirky life and demonstrate why they deserve their own TV show.
“We want families with unique hobbies, quirky businesses, over-the-top groups of friends, and fascinating people! Could you or someone you know be the next Honey Boo Boo – or is your business the next Duck Dynasty?” says Force Four’s Head of Development, Robert Hardy.
All application information should be emailed to casting@forcefour.com – the first round of casting closes Wednesday June 12, 2013.
Force Four’s original productions include two seasons of Million Dollar Neighbourhood for Corus/OWN, 52 episodes of Urban Suburban for HGTV, three seasons of The Cupcake Girls for W Network and three seasons of Murder She Solved for Corus/OWN. The company also recently produced its first scripted comedy series, Seed, for Rogers/City TV.
Force Four is also a key supplier of successful international formats, including The Bachelor Canada for Rogers/City TV and two seasons of Border Security for Shaw/National Geographic. Most recently, the company received a greenlight from W Network on the UK format The Audience.
