OpenText Announces StreamServe 5.6

OpenTextEnterprise Information Management (EIM) company OpenText™ has announced the immediate availability of StreamServe 5.6, OpenText’s new Customer Communications Management (CCM) solution that extends the value of EIM by tightly integrating with other OpenText EIM solutions, such as OpenText Business Process Management (BPM), OpenText Archiving and OpenText Media Management. Business users of OpenText StreamServe 5.6 will also now experience a stronger integration with Microsoft Word® documents and HTML, delivering the power of marketing capabilities to non-technical document authors, insuring greater responsiveness and business impact.

“OpenText StreamServe allows organizations to make their billing statements and other forms of customer communications more engaging and relevant, thereby enriching the overall customer experience and strengthening the relationship between the organization and the customer,” said Muhi Majzoub, senior vice president, engineering, OpenText. “The latest version of OpenText StreamServe takes things a step further by seamlessly integrating with many of the core components of OpenText EIM. This gives marketing users the ability to easily configure campaigns and messaging that they execute on an ad hoc basis within StreamServe or in Microsoft Word, while still keeping to the conformity of their corporate guidelines and approval processes. This streamlined approach to CCM leverages current assets, messaging and branding from other EIM solutions to further personalize customer statements.”

When used with OpenText BPM, OpenText StreamServe improves customer experience through the automation of customer communications. Both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) organizations use OpenText customer communications management solutions to create, produce, and distribute enterprise documents on-demand—and engage more profitably with their customers. Personalized documents are created through rules-based dynamic assembly and presented to customers, partners, and suppliers in multiple formats across multiple channels to drive business impact. From one-to-one contact to the high volume, mass production of documents, OpenText StreamServe simplifies and automates document-related business processes to improve business performance and efficiency.

Simple to deploy and maintain, OpenText StreamServe 5.6 delivers dynamic composition, document process automation, and output management capabilities. Designed to scale across any document-driven business process, OpenText’s Customer Communications Management (CCM) offerings integrate easily with ERP and supply-chain systems and applications, including those from SAP®.

OpenText’s CCM products are part of the OpenText Customer Experience Management (CEM) suite of solutions, one of five foundational pillars of OpenText’s Enterprise Information Management (EIM) strategy. OpenText Customer Experience Management (CEM) creates a richer, more interactive online experience across multiple channels – including websites, mobile devices, social networks, and more – without sacrificing information governance requirements.

OpenText StreamServe 5.6 is available immediately directly from OpenText and through its global partners.
