In Motion Technology And KIS Announce Partnership
In Motion Technology, a New Westminster-based developer of mobile enterprise networks, has announced an agreement with American company Knowledge Information Solutions (KIS) to distribute the company’s award-winning communications system. In Motion is deployed in thousands of law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies, transit and commercial vehicles in many of the most demanding mobile organizations in North America.
“Organizations need a single, end-to-end solution to simplify management of mobile assets, operations and communications,” said Tony Morris, In Motion’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “KIS has an excellent reputation for distributing and supporting IT products and services, and we’re pleased to partner with them to deliver our solution to government and commercial customers.”
With In Motion’s onBoard System, fleets become a seamless extension of the enterprise IT network. Video, voice, data, vehicle location, and diagnostic information flow to and from vehicles reliably and securely. Organizations can use any device over any network. They can add and change networks based on coverage, technology and price, and can monitor and manage the entire mobile operation from any web-enabled computer. The system is fully integrated, cost-effective, secure and future proof.
Virginia Beach-based KIS is a disadvantaged, minority woman-owned business with more than two decades of experience providing IT products and services to Federal, public sector, and commercial organizations. The company has 58,000 clients across the nation.
“We have worked with several mobile communication platforms, and In Motion Technology stands apart,” said Monica Bennett, Knowledge Information Solutions’ Vice-President, Sales and Marketing. “We have been impressed by the security, reliability and ease of use the In Motion system ensures. We are excited to offer this system with our mobile customized solutions to our clients.“
“As the number of wireless devices and networks grows, managing mobile operations has become increasingly complex,” said Morris. “Finding a solution shouldn’t be. We are proud to work with KIS to provide public and private sector fleets with a new choice and a respected partner to obtain an integrated mobile enterprise network solution.”
