DigiBC, the industry association for digital media and wireless companies in BC is hosting their annual DigiBC Holiday Party at Electronic Arts, Burnaby Campus on December 6th. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Two things come to mind when we think about the holidays: Generosity and Parties! In the spirit of holiday cheer, DigiBC is excited to bring the two together with a Holiday Networking Event. This event provides opportunity for you to eat and drink, socialize, dance and enjoy some holiday festivities with industry executives, digital media enthusiasts and academic institutions.
This event boasts an open bar, and back by popular demand, we will be hosting an oxygen bar. We are also going to be hosting the 2nd Annual Student Games Competition -there will be five finalists from local schools competing against each other in front of Video Game Industry Executives to showcase the talent and expertise of students and give the digital media industry a forecast of upcoming graduates. The winning team will receive a $250.00 cash prize. DigiBC would also like to announce we will be selling festive tickets, with a prize consisting of:

• 1-night-stay in the Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler
• 2 day-passes for Whistler/Blackcomb
• a day for 2 at the Scandinave Spa
• dinner at the Rim Rock Cafe
• a Nexus 7 Tablet

We will also have a mobile SmartPics photobooth, so you can show all your friends, family and co-workers what they’re missing out on.

Tickets are $45.00 for DigiBC members and $80.00 for non-members. If you are not a current DigiBC member, but would like to join, DigiBC will provide you with complimentary tickets.
