D-BOX Adds Eight New Screens for Warner Bros. The Dark Knight Rises
Innovative motion technology developer D-BOX Technologies Inc. has announced today that it will debut its D-BOX MFX Systems in two new theatre chains with the release of Warner Bros.’ The Dark Knight Rises, opening in select theatres this July 20th.
Agreements with Goodrich Quality Theatres, Inc. and Icon Cinema represent the newest exhibitors to install D-BOX MFX Systems, while Ambassador Theatres, Frank Theatres and Southern Theatres are among those continuing to equip additional locations with D-BOX.
New theatres include:

- 16 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Ambassador Theatres, Global Mall in Taipei, Taiwan
- 18 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Ambassador Theatres in Tainan, Taiwan
- 16 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Frank Theatres, CineGrille at Prado in Bonita Springs, Fla.
- 24 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Goodrich Theatres, Portage 16 IMAX in Portage, Ind.
- 28 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Icon Cinema in Roswell, N.M.
- 18 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Southern Theatres, The Grand 14 – Four Seasons Station in Greensboro, N.C.
- 24 D-BOX MFX Systems
- Southern Theatres, The Grand 16 – Pier Park in Panama City, Fla.
- 24 D-BOX MFX Systems
For the opening of The Dark Knight Rises, 149 screens (3,824 seats) will be equipped with D-BOX MFX systems in 12 countries.
