PCDI Canada Announces CANSCAIP Relationship
Distance education provider PCDI Canada has announced a new partnership with The Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers (CANSCAIP) that is designed to provide an extra boost for PCDI students as they prepare to undertake their careers as writers of children’s reading materials.“For those students of PCDI who are taking our Writing Children’s Books program this is an incredible opportunity and benefit,” commented PCDI Canada General Manager Mike Scott.
“In addition to the excellent career training that our students receive by taking the course, students who enroll in the PCDI Writing Children’s Books program receive a one-year membership in CANSCAIP at no additional cost,” Scott added.
CANSCAIP is a National Arts Service Organization dedicated to the celebration and promotion of Canadian children’s authors, illustrators and performers and their work. It provides promotional and networking opportunities to over 400 professional Members and over 600 Friends (associate members) across Canada.
PCDI Canada (a division of Ashworth College) has offered accredited education and career planning courses in Canada for 25 years. It offers over 35 professional-level career training courses (including a High school General Diploma program) to adult students who prefer the flexibility and convenience of self-paced home study.
