Big Dreams Big ideas Launches Beta Version Of Social Product Development Website

mini-orbySocial product development may not be a term everyone is familiar with yet, but that is something Dean Horsfield, CEO of Big Dreams Big ideas is out to change.

“Essentially, social product development is the process of bringing people together from all over the world to submit, vote, and comment on new and innovative product ideas,” stated Dean Horsfield. “Basically, if you can dream it, our community can help shape it and make it into a reality.”

The primary mission of Big Dreams Big ideas is to empower people from all over the globe to become more entrepreneurial. It can be difficult for most inventors to have their ideas and inventions heard by the general public, let alone financed. BDBI is attempting to change that by offering users the opportunity to have their ideas not only heard worldwide, but also produced and distributed through major retailers.

Not only will successful inventors and developers earn income from their products and ideas going to market, all products will have the creator’s and contributor’s bios displayed on the BDBI website. This will have a huge impact not only the finances of an inventor, but on their future career path as well.

Right now BDBI is challenging would-be-inventors to submit, vote, and comment on their favourite ideas. Each week the top voted idea will move into the finalist round. The top voted idea in that round will go to market through a major retailer that best fits with that product design.

The site is still in its beta stage of testing, but the initial reviews are extremely positive. The full version launch of the website is scheduled for sometime late this year, with an official release date not yet announced.
