New Media5-Fone Provides Enhanced Broadband Communications Services
IP-based multimedia communications solutions provider Media5 Corporation has announced the release of the new Media5-foneBBCom Edition. The BBCom Edition is an IMS MMTEL compliant softclient for iOS devices (iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod Touch®).
The new offering features an enhanced collection of services that are designed for Operators and Service Providers that are looking to increase ARPU. It builds upon the Media5-fone feature set with new and innovative MMTEL capabilities including:
- Presence
- Network Address Book
- Chat
- Group Communications Enabler
- Smart Call Routing
The Manager of Mobility Products for Media5, Mr. Pascal Dore, said: “The Media5-fone BBCom Edition has been engineered with interoperability in mind. Media5-fone BBCom Edition is currently available for iOS devices. Upcoming releases will add Android™, Desktop Web and Native editions, as well as an RCS-e conforming edition as per the GSMA initiative.
