startup weekend [1]Halifax is in the midst of nature’s charm and this spring, creativity is expected to flow from the heart of the city.  During March 23-25 2012, Startup Weekend [1] will inspire minds at the Dalhousie University campus. This will be the second Startup Weekend for Halifax. Paulette Dunn, organizer of Startup Weekend Halifax, has extended a warm thank you to Inceptive Solutions from Dalhousie University [4] and the Norman Newman Centre for Entrepreneurship [5]: “The true value of the support extends well beyond the prize money to include Derek’s personal involvement in the event as a mentor and judge as we mutually contribute to the innovative capacity of the shared community.”

Other mentors at the event include Brian Lowe, Co-founder and Director of the First Angel Network Association [6] – Atlantic Canada’s largest association for private investors. Startup Weekend Halifax tickets are available [7] at early bird pricing until Feb 22, 2012.
