Toon Boom Animation To Present Workshops At Animated Exeter UK 2012

Toon BoomAs part of the Animated Exeter Festival, Toon Boom is presenting  two workshops designed for young animation enthusiasts aged 7-11 and 12-15. The festival takes place at several venues in Exeter, UK this February 11th through 19th. Animated Exeter is an annual festival originally initiated by Exeter City Council in 1999 before expanding into an independent company. With an audience of around 21,000, Animated Exeter is now the premier animation festival in the South West.

The Animated Exeter Festival aims to excite and inspire young people, encourage and foster talent and showcase high quality animation.

Introduction to Flip Boom 2D Animation – Cartoon-tastic fun! See your story come to life and learn to draw and animate with all NEW Flip Boom All-Star 2. You will also learn how to record your own soundtrack, animate your own photos and learn how to share your finished cartoons online. Feel free to bring photographs to be animated on the day

  • Where: Exeter Central Library, Exeter, UK.
  • When: Tuesday 14 February 2012
  • Time: 10 am – 12.30pm
  • This workshop is for 7 – 11 year olds.
  • Registration is £12

Introduction to Toon Boom Studio 2D Animation – Learn how to create amazing animated films through a variety of animation techniques, including traditional paper, cut-out, rotoscoping and stop-motion with this easy-to-use animation program. Toon Boom Studio is ideal for students, teachers and hobbyists and offers accessible tools for a rewarding experience

  • Time: 1.30 pm – 4pm
  • This workshop is for 12 – 15 year olds.
  • Registration is £12
