Take the Leap From Good to Great Forum Registration Open
The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is happy to announce that registration is open for the 2012 Take the Leap… From Good to Great! Forum taking place on February 29 at the Ottawa Convention Centre. Presented by the Ottawa/Gatineau chapter of the CPRS, this Forum is a full day of training, followed by a networking cocktail #PRmixer, which is very popular among public relations and Web 2.0 professionals, community managers and other connected people.
“An event of this size rarely takes place in the National Capital Region. To meet the demand, major public relations and communications industry players joined forces to offer you a series of exciting lectures, in both French and English,” revealed CPRS President Keelan Green.

- Dimitri Soudas – Canadian Olympic Committee
As the Executive Director of Communications, Dimitri is the Committee’s key spokesperson and the engine behind the communication strategies to partners. A former Communications Director for the Prime Minister of Canada, this leader has proven himself over the years. - Bruno Guglielminetti – National Public Relations
As the Director of Digital Communications, Bruno is a Canadian Internet pioneer. A former Radio-Canada producer, Bruno now works to discover the best digital platforms for helping his clients tell their stories in different ways and reach different audiences. - Brad Lavigne – New Democratic Party (NDP)
As the National Campaign Director during the May 2011 General Election, Brad watched his party achieved its best results ever and become the official opposition in the House of Commons. He has also written a regular column for The Hill Times for a number of years and appears regularly on CBC Newsworld and CTV. - Jason Patuano – McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited
As the Director of Communications for Eastern Canada, Jason manages and executes all public relations, public affairs and communication activities, as well as manages social media. Throughout his career, Jason has also worked in other large organizations such as the City of Montreal, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada, and the Cirque du Soleil. - Anick Losier – Canada Post
As the Director of Media Relations, Anick is the specialist of media policy and strategy and related tactical plans. In particular, she handles effective management of the reputation and public image of one of the largest corporations in Canada.
