“‘Manon of the Frozen North’ stands out of our other readable offerings, which are mainly comic books,” says Christian Viel, president of Movie Seals Digital, Publisher of the book and producer of the popular superheroes web series. “Delving deeper into the mind of the young girl that would become Nordik within the context of a dangerous and unsuspecting environment has been an absolute passion of mine – having lived in Labrador City myself in my childhood, I could definitely relate to Manon – and we felt that the diaries format was the best way to gain the intimacy, the ‘window into the soul’ we wanted in order to express properly the complex feelings of a tormented teenager growing up in an hostile environment.”

“Manon of the Frozen North” will be available in both trade paperback and digital download from the Official Heroes of the North website, as well as amazon.ca.
