Hootsuite Adds Three New Apps To Dashboard
Vancouver social media management system developer HootSuite has announced additional App Directory integrations for Massachusetts-based Constant Contact along with fellow Vancouver social media services Summify and Formulists. These tools are available immediately to all HootSuite users, including Basic free users, Pro and Enterprise.
The new integrations allow users to apply advanced HootSuite functionality, like team collaboration, engagement, security and analytic tools, to the management of these social content networks. It also gives brands and marketers the opporutnity to grow their business and build relationships with new audiences alongside existing social network profiles in the dashboard, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and more.
“We aim to summarize what’s important and relevant from a user’s social streams wherever they are consuming them,” said Mircea Pasoi, Co-Founder of Summify. “HootSuite is an ideal venue to integrate Summify since it’s users tend to be heavy consumers of social media, and especially value the benefits we deliver.”
The App Directory integrations are:
- Constant Contact – The Constant Contact app allows HootSuite users to view results of recent email campaigns, and share these across social networks, extending the reach of their marketing initiatives.
- Summify – Summify users can take control of the large amount of news on social networks and filter important updates into personalized digest summaries within HootSuite’s user-created streams.
- Formulists – Managing Twitter lists is now easier for Formulists users to view dynamic, personalized list streams within the HootSuite dashboard.
“We’re always looking for ways to help our customers effectively engage with their customers and see the results, quickly and easily,” said Rick Jensen, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Constant Contact. “With the Constant Contact App for HootSuite, we’re making it easy for small businesses to monitor the success of their email campaigns and to share these campaigns throughout their social media channels to extend their reach and ultimately drive new sales.”
By working with external developers, HootSuite is rapidly launching purpose-specific tools into the platform which allow users to take advantage of the engagement, collaboration, security and metric reporting tools available in the dashboard.
Last month, HootSuite launched the App Directory, allowing the opportunity for third-party developers to build extensions into the HootSuite platform. Current applications include YouTube, Flickr, Tumblr and Get Satisfaction. This release further enhances HootSuite’s SaaS model by expanding the ecosystem of network integrations and partners. HootSuite invites interested developers to apply for access to the SDK if they are interested in building applications for the App Directory.
