FX Canada Launches in Western Canada on TELUS Optik TV
FX Canada has announced that TELUS will now offer the specialty channel to its Optik TV subscribers in Alberta and British Columbia. Launching yesterday with a two-month free preview, viewers in Western Canada will enjoy unlimited access to the extensive, ground-breaking programming on the specialty channel until February 12, 2012. Following the preview, FX Canada will be included in TELUS Optik TV Entertainment Extra theme package.
FX Canada is available to TELUS Optik TV subscribers in Alberta and British Columbia in standard definition on channel 188 and coming soon On Demand and in high definition on channel 690 in early 2012. In addition to being available on TELUS, FX Canada has already launched on Rogers Digital, EastLink and Cable Cable (see below for channel listings).
Currently on a two-month free preview until January 4, 2012, FX Canada can be seen on the following television service providers:
- Rogers Digital – Channel 318 (standard definition) and 565 (high definition)
- EastLink – Channel on 667 (high definition). Check local listings for standard definition channel information
- Cable Cable – Channel 97 (standard definition) and 315 (high definition)
- TELUS Optik TV – Channel 188 (standard definition)
Plus, viewers can also catch their favourite FX Canada programs on-demand on Rogers On Demand Online. The Rogers on Demand Online free preview also ends January 4, 2012.
