Icarus Named To September Top Indie Games By Game Tunnel

posted in Everyone, New Releases, Platform By: |

icarus by justin scottCongratulations to BC indie developer Justin Scott, whose 2D PC side-scrolling game Icarus has been recognized as one of the top indie games on the market by American review site Game Tunnel. A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Justin has worked at PartnerPedia’s Vancouver office, and currently works for Telus as a Developer Analyst.

Icarus is a game with a quest, the outcome being decided by player choices, not a dialogue tree. Icarus features unique game mechanics, engaging atmosphere, and a living world. Each playthrough takes about half an hour and will result in one of several endings. Complete with retro-styled arcade music by Br1ght Pr1mate, Icarus will send you on a treasure quest as you encounter enemies, obstacles and unarmed villagers.

Icarus is available for purchase on Justin’s web site, following the “pay what you feel it’s worth” model. There is a downloadable demo version to try before you buy.
