TransGaming Studios Needs A Senior Game Designer Pronto
Toronto’s TransGaming Studios, the makers of Kula Blox and Garage, Inc., is looking for an experienced Game Designer.
You must have a proven track record of designing casual games demonstrated by having multiple titles shipped under your design leadership. You are ambitious and have a lot of initiative and enthusiasm. You have a passion for the game industry as a whole and deep knowledge of the casual space in particular.
Professionally you’re responsible, you thrive in a leadership role, and you have a strong focus on results. This role offers the opportunity of growing into the position of Creative Director depending on results and progress. We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join a small but talented team with big dreams.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for all aspects of game design including
- Generating original game concepts
- Fleshing out existing game concepts
- Writing and maintaining the GDD
- Collaborating with the art and code teams during the entire game development cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in a lead game design role
- Minimum 7 years experience in the game industry
- Multiple (5+) casual/mobile games shipped
- Proven ability to lead and influence without authority
- Excellent organization and communication skills
