Vancouver media and technology company BroadbandTV (BBTV) has announced an exclusive partnership with Social Blade, YouTube’s leading analytics platform. Social Blade’s network of YouTube creators will now be powered by BBTV, the most advanced and technology driven Multi-Channel Network (MCN).
“This partnership is particularly exciting because it is relevant to the whole online video community, from creators, to brands and even investors,” explained Shahrzad Rafati, Founder & CEO, BroadbandTV. “We’re combining our expertise in video optimisation and engagement, and joining forces with the largest open analytics player to provide even greater solutions. Together, we will further develop tools that solve real problems for the online video industry.”
Unlike more traditional players that provide market insights on a monthly basis, for a significant subscription fee, Social Blade updates its analytics hourly, to everyone, at no cost. Social Blade has a unique ability to provide granular information on specific channels, such as: territory, subscribers, and other detailed information, making it the go-to destination for players across the industry.
“We’re thrilled about partnering with Social Blade and giving their users access to BBTV’s tools and services. Together, we’re absolutely committed to helping content creators of all sizes become as successful as possible,” explained Ali Adab, VP of Content and Partnerships, BroadbandTV. “Creators will benefit from a range of services including BBTV’s creative and production services, ad sales and branded entertainment, proprietary technology platform, VISO Catalyst, and access to a dedicated Partner Experience team.”
Other initiatives planned by BBTV and Social Blade includes an educational program, and meet-ups for content creators.
“The MCN and broader digital content market develops at a rapid pace, opening up massive opportunities for players across the board,” said Jason Urgo, Founder & CEO, Social Blade. “Access to timely data, and the best technology allows parties on all sides of the industry to make informed decisions. It’s an exciting partnership that has the opportunity to positively develop the wider market.”
BBTV currently achieves four billion monthly impressions across its network that boasts over 32,000 creators across a number of key brands including TGN, the most engaged gaming network on YouTube; Opposition, the second largest hip-hop music network; and Popular female lifestyle brand, Kandesa.
