Toronto ComiCon Announces Guest Additions

mini-orbyToronto ComiCon presented by Fan Expo is giving you more to love this March Break, with a pop-culture extravaganza featuring the biggest names and brightest minds in the comic, sci-fi, anime and gaming universe.  For the first time ever, Toronto ComiCon is expanding to three days — March 7 to 9 — at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre! Celebrity guests include:

  • Giancarlo Esposito: Best known for his portrayal of Gustavo “Gus” Fring on AMC’s smash hit Breaking Bad, Esposito currently stars on sci-fi TV drama Revolution. Other credits include The Usual Suspects and Once Upon a Time, and he has an upcoming role in the thriller Poker Night alongside Ron Perlman.
  • Jon Heder: As the star of Napoleon Dynamite, Heder anchored one of the Sundance Film Festival’s highest grossing films. Heder also starred in Blades of Glory, and is currently working on the screen adaption of the sci-fi novel Buddy Holly is Alive and Well on Ganymede.
  • IronE Singleton: Best known as Theodore “T-Dog” Douglas in the AMC television series The Walking Dead, Singleton also starred in the Oscar-winning film The Blind Side.
  • Morena Baccarin: Popular in the sci-fi universe for her roles in Firefly, V, Stargate SG-1 and the feature film Serenity, Baccarin received a 2013 Emmy nomination for her work on the critically-acclaimed drama Homeland. She is currently working on DC Comic’s animated feature Son of Batman.

Escape the winter chill and indulge in all of your pop-culture obsessions at the 2014 Toronto ComiCon. Other celebrity guests include: Eliza Dushka (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse), Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Allison Mack (Smallville) and Denise Crosby (Star Trek: The Next Generation).
