Toronto’s PadWorx Digital Media was pleased today to announce it has commenced production of version 2.0 of Tourism Australia’s flagship tourism app, “There’s Nothing Like Australia.” Working closely with Tourism Australia, PadWorx will significantly revise and expand the content and functionality of the hugely successful original version.
In addition to creating their award-winning, story-based interactivity, PadWorx will add a number of notable new features to version 2.0; including Google™ maps, streaming video and narration. These features will be offered in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, German, Korean. PadWorx will also develop an ‘Interest Wizard’ for the app, which will allow potential travelers to customize the app’s content in terms of their preferred travel experiences, from beaches to outback to high-end shopping.
As with all PadWorx apps, the ‘There’s Nothing Like Australia’ will be built using their proprietary software, padXtec, which includes social media sharing, unique analytics, and a cloud-based CMS that allows clients to easily update and modify content.

Version 2.0 of ‘There’s Nothing Like Australia’ is set for launch October, 2013.
