This month, ET Canada is dialing up the viewer experience with the return of ETC Live on Wednesday nights and an exclusive opportunity for one lucky and talented fan to join hosts Cheryl Hickey, Rick Campanelli and Roz Weston as a special guest reporter on March 27, 2013. Starting today, Canadians can submit their 60-second audition video online. Videos will be reviewed by ET Canada’s producing team and the top four submissions will be posted online with viewers getting the final say on who wins! Voting will commence on March 13.
“We have an incredibly loyal fan base and we make it a point to connect with our viewers every day – whether it’s via Twitter, in-person at events, or with online polls and contesting – and we believe that this engagement is what drives our viewers to tune in every night of the week,” said Tamara Simoneau, Sr. Executive Producer, ET Canada. “We bring our viewers up close and personal with their favourite celebrities and the fact that we have well over 200% more Twitter followers than any other entertainment show in Canada demonstrates that our viewers enjoy being a part of the action. From hosting the biggest New Year’s Eve live event to sending one lucky viewer to the GRAMMY Awards® to blog for us to inviting a fan to join us on-set and onscreen, we love offering our viewers unmatched opportunities to participate in our show.”
ET Canada kicked 2013 off with a bang hosting the country’s largest countdown ‘New Years Eve at Niagara Falls’.
