X-Summit is a two-day conference focused on the opportunities where interactive media intersect with other forms of media including television and film. The 2012 edition takes place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Toronto on November 6 and 7 and marks the seventh year for Interactive Ontario’s cross-media conference. Early bird tickets are available now.
Content producers will learn how to better tell their stories seamlessly across multiple platforms, and all attendees will discover and discuss new trends and best practices in developing true transmedia projects as well as ways to expand existing properties into new media.
X-Summit will create a dialogue between content creators in film, TV, video games, interactive online storytelling and other forms of media, and will provide unparalleled networking and partnership development opportunities.
The first day of the X-Summit 2012 conference will feature a full day of programming including keynotes, panels and presentations followed by a networking reception. The second day goes into depth with 1×1 meetings, roundtable discussions, workshops and more. These opportunities for learning and collaboration will help attendees make the most of their intellectual property.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time for those involved in developing projects with an interactive digital media component,” said Interactive Ontario President and CEO Donald Henderson. “X-Summit will allow innovative content creators to exchange knowledge and forge new partnerships.”
