Consumer marketing and technology firm Mobio Technologies, Inc has announced the official launch of Mobio – Band ConneXion. The Band ConneXion version of their fan engagement application showcases all 500+ bands attending the SXSW Music Festival, March 13-18, 2012 including Metric, Counting Crows, and Bruce Springsteen. Each band has a profile in the app that includes their festival show details and links to all of their social media pages.
Through Mobio – Band ConneXion, fans will find their favorite band’s website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and MySpace all in one place. Fans will also be able to browse the Featured Bands pages for a chance to win prizes including signed albums, t-shirts and other merchandise, or a personal meet and greet at SXSW.
Defeat the Label is the official non-profit beneficiary for the Mobio – Band ConneXion. Defeat the Label strives to promote an inclusive, judgment-free society. Defeat the Label brings their goal to fruition by engaging young people, parents, school districts and administrators with their anti-bullying curriculum, website, Facebook and Twitter. They engage young people with weekly missions and celebrity ambassadors and offer social advocacy tools to help them take a stand and stop bullying in their schools.
