Radiant Communications Appoints New President And CEO

Radiant CommunicationsBroadband Solutions for Business™ provider Radiant Communications Corp. has announced that Paul Healey, formerly Interim President and CEO, has been officially appointed as the corporation’s President and CEO.

“On behalf of the Board I am very pleased to welcome Paul as our new President and CEO,” said Don Calder, Chairman of Radiant. “Both the Board and the senior management team have worked very closely with Paul over the past six months and we are unanimous in our conviction that Paul has the talent, experience and leadership capability to deliver the results and growth that our shareholders are looking for.”

“Over the past six months the Radiant team and I have spent an enormous amount of time and energy reviewing all facets of the business,” said Paul Healey, President and CEO. “We have re-engineered our company and resources to deliver a compelling value proposition and customer experience. Our customers and employees have responded to the changes we’ve made with a very high level of enthusiasm. With today’s appointment I am committed to continuing this transformation process to build Radiant into a leading provider of managed networks and hosting services to our coveted list of customers including many of Canada’s most well known household brand names.”

Mr. Healey has been the Interim President and CEO of Radiant since August of 2011. An experienced telecommunications leader he formerly held executive positions at both BCE and Rogers Communications including President Bell Canada, Western Canada.  Mr. Healey’s most recent role was as President & CEO of a national franchise growth company.

In conjunction with this appointment Mr. Healey has been granted 950,000 share purchase options at a strike price of $0.75 a share which vest over a three year period.
