Sports Mobile Strategies Inc. (SMS), creators of the m-Caddy mobile suite of products designed exclusively for the golf industry, will be launching the m-Caddy mobile at the upcoming PGA Merchandise Show. The m-Caddy is a full mobile suite of products that include:
- mobile Tee Time Confirmations (2-way automated confirmations)
- mobile Tee Time Bookings
- mobile Web App that can be created by the golf course in minutes
- mobile Golf Pro to give tips on how to play each hole
- mobile Marketing platform (text message marketing)

Through a full integration with tee time reservation software, the m-Caddy mobile tee time confirmation system speaks directly with the tee sheet of the golf course and sends an automated text message to golfers 24 hours in advance of their tee time, prompting them to reply with the number of confirmed golfers for their tee time. Upon receiving the confirmed number of golfers, the m-Caddy tee time confirmation system confirms, cancels or modifies the tee time and physically removes those golfers from the tee sheet, allowing the golf course to sell the vacant tee times that would have otherwise gone unsold as no shows. The entire process is automated and works behind the scenes in real time.
